He shared a solution with us: I set the compatibility settings for the RMVXAce program to Windows 8, and my wonky framerate issues just disappeared. Sharing our experience on this upgrade, along with troubleshooting. Kitsune confirms that and informs us about the same issue on RPG Maker 2000.
